A pregnant NHS nurse is one of the latest victims of the pandemic. Mary Agyapong worked at the Luton and Dunstable University Hospital. Colleagues said she was “highly valued and loved” and had "devoted her life to the NHS". Her child was delivered successfully and is doing well. Thousands of additional breathing aids are now being produced for critically ill coronavirus patients, in a partnership between medical staff, universities and industry.
